ABOUT Kristin MacCaughey, LPCC

MA, LPCC

Kristin MacCaughey, LPCC is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her Master of Arts degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in Clinical Counseling in 2012. She is passionate about mental health and helping her clients on their journey to more wholeness, resilience and thriving.

She has experience working with a variety of ages and concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, couples counseling, eating disorders, adolescents, grief and loss, trauma, parenting and co-parenting, and adjusting to life changes. Kristin has worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses.

Her intention as a therapist is to help her clients have a safe space to process their feelings and provide nonjudgmental, empathetic support and interventions tailored to their unique situation. Kristin generally uses a client-centered approach and sees counseling as a collaborative process. She believes that everyone comes into a therapists’ office with a unique story and seeks to honor her clients’ strengths as you work through your concerns together.
