Christina Jasik, CT is a Counselor Trainee/Intern who is passionate about helping people conquer their fears and overcome the challenges they face as they transition through different life stages. She is completing her education through Malone University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA) with a minor in Biblical and Theological Studies from Bethel University along with an Addiction Studies Certificate.
Her clinical training and experience consist of interning at an in-patient treatment center for at-risk youth and working with disability services which helped college students with mental and physical disabilities. Additionally, she is developing a specialty in working with couples. She has several years of experience working in the church in various leadership roles, such as leading worship, guest speaking, leading women’s Bible studies, and serving as a ministry intern. Additionally, she has also served as a campus ministry intern, coordinating and leading mission trips and mentoring college students.
Christina’s specific interests are working with survivors of abuse and trauma, and individuals struggling in their relationships. She also works with people with depression, anxiety, and behavioral disorders. She enjoys working with a wide range of people including adolescents, adults, and couples who desire to work through obstacles and challenges in their relationship. She hopes to share with my clients the importance of slowly addressing emotional pain and believes there is a strong connection between one’s internal emotions and their bodily responses. She hopes to work together to find ways to work through your pain to help you heal so that you can have a healthier and more balanced life.
